  Wearing a pair of Silambu around my ankles fills me with a sense of pride that is truly beyond words. The metallic touch against my skin and the majestic look it adds to my feet instill a deep sense of self-confidence within me. As an artist, I feel it enhances the respect I have for the craft I’ve mastered and the dignity I carry as a young woman inheriting our rich local heritage❤️🥺. The way the rhythmic sound of the Silambu blends with every step I take during a dance brings immense joy to my heart🌸🙏. That melodic chime connects me with the environment around me, breathing a unique life and energy into my performance. Seeing my dedication and hard work bear fruit as I dance on stage to the resonance of the Silambu is an experience that brings me profound mental peace and great fulfillment.

  The sky fills with dark clouds, and a sudden silence wraps around the world, signaling the arrival of rain. As the first drop hits the parched earth, the enchanting scent of wet soil brings a deep sense of calm to the soul. Seeing the trees refreshed by the rain, swaying in the wind as droplets glisten on every leaf, makes it feel as though the entire world has been reborn. Rain is not just water falling from the sky; it is a beautiful creation of nature that brings love and hope to our lives. Sitting by the window on a rainy day, watching the world go by, the feelings of loneliness and weariness simply fade away, replaced by a sense of true freedom. Every chilly moment spent in the rain reminds us of the precious opportunity we have to embrace the pure beauty of nature.

  ​Located in the Matale District of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya is one of the most proud and magnificent historical heritages of our country. Built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa as his fortress and royal palace, this marvelous creation stands atop a massive rock nearly 600 feet above the ground. It earned the name "Sinha-giri" or Sigiriya due to its entrance shaped like a lion. Even today, tourists from all over the world flock to witness its breathtaking architecture and ingenuity. ​When you visit Sigiriya, you can admire the world-famous frescoes of the Sigiri damsels, the ancient graffiti written on the Mirror Wall, and the beautifully landscaped gardens with highly advanced water management systems. Once you reach the summit, the panoramic natural view is enough to soothe anyone’s mind. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Sigiriya is not just a rock; it is a living testimony to the incomparable skill of ancient Sri Lankan artists and engineers.

 My favorite singer is Yuki Navaratne . One of the main reasons he is my favorite is his unique and distinct voice. Among his many creations, some of my absolute favorites are: ​ Boho De Kiyannata Thibuna Sithe ​ Pini Bindu ​ Visithuru Mal His work is characterized by a blend of simplicity and deep meaning. Even though he is a modern singer, the calmness in his voice encourages me to listen to his songs frequently. I enjoy his music every single day.

  ​The ocean is truly a magical part of our world. It is breathtakingly beautiful, yet equally formidable. It serves as a perfect testament to the idea that everything beautiful carries a hint of danger. ​The sheer elegance of the waves as they wash over the shore and retreat is mesmerizing. While the sea brings a sense of profound tranquility, it is the rhythmic melody of the crashing waves that truly enhances its charm. ​For many, the ocean is a mystical force that stirs up long-buried emotions deep within the heart. To me, the sea is like a form of meditation—a sanctuary that sets the mind free.

  The Kandy Esala Perahera, also known as the Festival of the Tooth, is one of the oldest and grandest Buddhist festivals in the world. Held annually in Kandy, Sri Lanka, this majestic event pays homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. For ten days, the city comes alive with vibrant colors and spiritual energy, attracting thousands of visitors who gather to witness this spectacular display of faith and tradition. The procession is a breathtaking parade featuring elegant traditional dancers, fire-breathers, and rhythmic drummers. The highlight of the event is the majestic tusker, beautifully adorned in golden fabrics, which carries the golden casket representing the Sacred Relic. Accompanied by dozens of decorated elephants, this ancient ritual beautifully showcases Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and remains a symbol of national pride.

  ​Chocolate is a Delicious Treat ​Chocolate is an incredibly sweet and delightful food. It is a favorite for many people around the world. There are numerous varieties available in different flavors, such as dark chocolate , milk chocolate , and white chocolate . From young children to the elderly, there are so many people who truly adore chocolate. There is a unique kind of joy in gazing at the sky while enjoying a piece of chocolate. One day, I will definitely taste the most delicious chocolate in the world. Chocolate is truly one of my favorite treats👀😋🍫

  ​Even though I am Buddhist by birth, Christmas Day is my favorite day of the entire year☃️❄️. I am absolutely enchanted by the wonderful sights and scenery that come with the season. Seeing the devotion of Catholic followers and the simple, joyful way they live their lives during this time is truly inspiring. ​I  spent my childhood in Negombo , a city famously known as "Little Rome" due to its vibrant Catholic community. Because of this, Christmas has always felt very close to my heart. Another reason for this deep connection is my mother, who is Catholic. ​One of my most beautiful memories is from when I was little; while I was fast asleep, my mother and father would place gifts beside me, making it feel as if Santa Claus himself had brought them. Rapunzel is my favorite cartoon princess. She is incredibly attractive, and her beauty is further enhanced by her long, flowing hair. When her character was designed, she was given a very stunning and appealing look. Her long hair, large eyes, and simple purple dress highlight her modest yet elegant beauty. Her best friend and pet is a chameleon . In the Sinhala dubbed version of the cartoon, she is called "Sittharavi," a name that perfectly suits her appearance and artistic nature. She is a very playful and talkative girl. Truly, Rapunzel is a breathtakingly beautiful princess. 💜️🪻

  ​I am someone who loves all kinds of fruits. However, I have a special preference for eating avocados . I love this fruit so much that I can eat it at any time of the day👀. Not only do I enjoy eating avocados plain, but I also love making avocado juice  and salads😋 . The fats found in avocados are very good for our bodies, making it an incredibly healthy and nutritious fruit.

  ​My favorite actor is Dhanush , a brilliant talent in Tamil cinema. I really enjoy watching his films because of the simplicity he brings to his characters. My two favorite movies of his are Anegan and Moonu. ​In addition to his acting, he is also a very talented singer. There are so many people who love him just as much as I do. Some of his other notable films include Maari , Pattas , VIP , Raayan , and Thiruchitrambalam . Dhanush is truly a gifted performer, and I believe his popularity will continue to shine for years to come.

  ​Flowers are one of the things I love most in this life. I truly wish I could get lost in a world filled with nothing but blossoms. The beauty they hold is simply beyond words. ​I would be so happy if I could just lie down freely, surrounded by a vibrant sea of colorful flowers. To me, flowers are like a meditation that calms the mind; speaking to them brings a deep sense of relief and peace to my soul. ​I honestly wish the entire world could be a place overflowing with flowers.        Dancing is my hobby , and my passion for it dates back to my early childhood. For me, dancing is more than just movement; it is a form of healing that soothes my soul. During my school days, I was also involved in gymnastics , which helped me refine my physical flexibility and rhythm. ​Whenever I find a moment of leisure, I lose myself in dance. My love for this art form is so profound that I decided to choose it as my career path. As a result of my dedication, I have been selected to the University of the Visual and Performing Arts . ​Throughout my journey, I have had the honor of winning several all-island competitions , which further fueled my passion.       The most beautiful and emotionally stirring film I have ever watched is the Hindi movie "Mom." To me, it is a masterpiece that weaves together a mother's love, her protective nature, and her immense inner strength❤️. ​The film poignantly depicts how a mother endures the pain when her child is harmed and the powerful way she responds to that injustice. It made me realize just how vast and profound a mother's love truly is. This movie touched my heart so deeply that after watching it, I was moved to tears and went to give my own mother a tight hug🥺🤱. ​The role of the mother is portrayed by the incredibly talented and beloved actress, Sridevi. She was breathtakingly beautiful and exceptionally skilled. While it is heartbreaking that she is no longer with us today, she remains immortal through the art she left behind.
